School day testing

Schools and districts book these, not students. The fall 2026 window for SAT School Day, PSAT/NMSQT and PSAT 8/9 is 1 to 30 October 2026, and the spring 2027 window is 1 March to 30 April 2027.

Looking further ahead

College Board has also listed anticipated 2027-28 dates: 28 August, 18 September, 9 October, 6 November and 4 December 2027, then 4 March, 6 May and 3 June 2028. These can change.

What this means

Work back from your earliest university deadline and allow time for a second attempt. If you need to borrow a device from College Board, register at least 30 days before test day. International students should book early because centres fill quickly, and should check the date and centre on the admission ticket once registered.
