College Board’s fee table for SAT Weekend in 2026-27 shows higher charges for changing a booking and for registering late. The basic registration fee has not moved.

Key facts

  • SAT fee $68 per test
  • International fee $43 extra per test
  • Change test centre $34 (was $29)
  • Late registration $38 (was $34)
  • Valid Fees through June 2027

The fees now

  • SAT registration: $68 per test.
  • International registration fee: $43 per test, on top of the $68, for students testing outside the US.
  • Change of test centre: $34. To change the date you must cancel and register again.
  • Cancel by the change deadline: $34.
  • Late cancellation, after the change deadline but by 11:59 pm Eastern Time on the Thursday before test day: $44.
  • Late registration: $38.
  • Joining the waitlist: free.

College Board labels these additional fees as valid through June 2027. Its 2025-26 counsellor guide listed a $29 change fee and a $34 late registration fee, so both have risen by a few dollars. Fee waivers cover the change, cancellation and late fees for eligible US students.

Score fees

Four score reports are free if ordered within nine days of the test. After that each extra report costs $15, rush delivery adds $31, and archived scores add $35.

What this means

Budget $111 for one SAT if you are testing outside the US ($68 plus $43), and more if you may need to change centre or register late. The cheapest route is to book before the regular deadline and choose your four free score recipients within nine days of the test. If you are not sure of your centre, join the free waitlist rather than paying to switch later. Pay only through College Board’s own site and keep your receipt.
